I ran across the question today,

“What would you do if you found out someone you know is transgender?”

I know from experience I would do the same thing as before I knew they were transgender.

As kids, Ted and I got into swimming races and paddled a canoe around the lake at retreats. I was not the least bit surprised that Ted had been transgender. He had been a he even when he was 10 or 12 and technically had been a she.

And my cousin. Who was surprised by that? Anyone who was had their head buried six feet in the sand.

With both of them, their gender was irrelevant to the way we interacted.

So what would I do if I found out someone I knew was transgender? The same thing I did before I knew they were transgender. I may be cis gender, but here’s no reason to do anything else.

I love selenite for its beautiful, soothing energy. I use it to clear and charge other stones, too.

If I said a blast from the past, you might think old friends, TV shows, or something like that. You probably wouldn’t think of art supplies.  Almost 30 years since I graduated from college, though, I still have some from school. Here are a few.Art supplies from College

Eyes

I have been working on drawing eyes lately. I have used wax/oil colored pencils, shown in these examples, and watercolor pencils. I have a way to go with them. And the furthest way to go with the watercolor pencils. They boggle me. LOL And what do I do with these eyes? Things like adding them to acrylic paintings.
